Our latest challenge was a long one
(with two opportunities to win!)
and contained a bit of a twist
entries had to include one or more of the following:
something the papercrafter is thankful for,
one or more Fall colors,
and/or an actual magazine or part of one.

And now, let’s move along and
check out what your fellow papercrafters created…

Week 124 Submission by JPSCRAPS

JPSCRAPS created a lovely thank-you card inspired by the colors and flowers from our magazine.

She had a tough week, but still managed to participate in our challenge – yay JPSCRAPS!

I love the texture she added to the card base, a design reminiscent of the swirls in our inspiration piece pumpkins!

Be sure to stop by JPSCRAPS’ blog to see what else she’s been up to.

Week 124 Submission by Rebecca D.

Rebecca created a fun layout featuring her hubby and son.

She was excited to find a photo of the two of them together (something she says is rare!) and she shared that she was inspired by the Fall colors in our inspiration piece (red, yellow and soft blue) and the scattering of leaves on the magazine cover (for which she substituted enamel dots).

I love the visual triangle Rebecca created, and the way she brought out the blue in her son’s shirt by adding a variety of blue touches to her page!

Be sure to stop by Rebecca’s blog to learn more about this layout and the other projects she likes to create.

Beverly created a very pretty layout featuring a lovely young ballerina. Her daughter perhaps?

She was inspired by the inspiration piece stack of pumpkins, her layered flowers taking their place.

I love the way she fussy cut the roses and added bling throughout the page – so pretty and feminine!

Be sure to stop by Beverly’s blog to tell her how much you like this project.

Jean created a wonderful mixed media canvas.

She was obviously inspired by the pumpkin, Fall colors and leaves found on our magazine cover.

I love the way Jean created so much texture on her canvas and the way she added the messages throughout – what a great gift!

Be sure to stop by Jean’s blog to hear about her plans for Thanksgiving.

Suzi created a fun birthday card for her daughter and we’re so glad Suzi’s back!

She was inspired by the pumpkins, Fall colors and leaves, and included something she’s thankful for: her daughter!

I love how Suzi incorporated the owl into the design – it’s perfect for the season and has special meaning for the birthday girl.

Be sure to stop by Suzi’s blog to learn the “owl story” and to welcome Suzi back to the challenge – we hope you can play more often, Suzi!

Missed out on this week’s challenge?

It’s never too late to create and/or submit an entry!
(It just won’t be eligible for the prize drawing unless it’s submitted by the deadline.)

And, this week’s winners are…

Beverly J.

&

Rebecca D.!

Please join us in congratulating

Beverly & Rebecca!

Worried you’ll miss our next papercrafting challenge
or all the other fun we have here?

No worries,
we’re happy to send you reminders!

Subscribe to our daily blog feed,
you’ll receive an emailed reminder about this challenge every week,

when the new inspiration piece is posted.

Plus,
you’ll always be up-to-date on the latest and greatest
in the papercrafting industry

&
you’ll never miss a fun giveaway!

Want to know how to play along this week?

It’s easy:

  • Go create something – any papercraft project – based on next week’s inspiration piece (next week’s inspiration piece will be posted early, today, Thursday, November 26, 2015, by midnight central, GMT-5, to give you more time to create, in case you have time between eating and Black Friday shopping!).
  • Come back to next week’s post and leave a comment, including a link to where you’ve posted your papercraft creation, before midnight (central time, GMT-5) on Sunday, December 6, 2015. Be sure your blog or feed isn’t set to private – we can’t access it to grab your project image if it is!
  • Check back often to see what others have created and posted (and show your fellow papercrafters love by commenting on their creations!)

We’ll be checking the comment section of next week’s blog post daily for comments and links to papercrafting goodness, and we’ll pin all the creations to our Magazine Mondays Pinterest board and link to them on our Facebook page so everyone can be inspired. (Note: be sure your papercraft creation is not blocked from being pinned if you want it added to our board.)

Then, on Monday, December 7, 2015, we’ll randomly choose one participant from next week’s papercraft entries to receive a fun prize!

And, their winning entry will be the called out as ***THE WINNER*** on our Magazine Mondays Pinterest board!

Happy Papercrafting!

What is Magazine Mondays All About?

It’s an almost-weekly dose of papercrafting inspiration courtesy of magazines, and your fellow papercrafters.

We’ll be offering you peaks at the pages, topics, colors, design and type in magazines, and on their covers, in hopes of inspiring you to create.

And, most importantly, it’s a chance for you to show off your papercraft creations and win fun papercrafting prizes!

PaperCrafter’s Corner (PCC)
has been known for being a papercrafting information resource (store, event, retreat and kit club directories; industry news; product roundups, etc.) and provider of entertainment (product sneak peeks, challenges, giveaways, etc.).

Now we want to become your number-one source of inspiration…more specifically, papercrafting inspiration!

Magazine Mondays – How To Play Along

On most Mondays we’ll post a magazine cover or page or project here on our blog and encourage you to use it as inspiration to create something of your very own.

You’ll create something (ANYTHING papercrafted) and add a comment on the blog post, including a link to your inspired papercraft creation, before midnight (central time, GMT-5) the following Sunday.

We’ll “pin” each week’s magazine – as well as everyone’s creations – to our Magazine Mondays Pinterest board to provide even more inspiration for our community.

And, we’ll link to all the creations from our Facebook page so everyone following our Facebook timeline will see the creations our community has shared!

And the best part?

One lucky winner
(chosen randomly from all entries received by midnight [central time, GMT-5]
of the Sunday following the inspiration piece posting)
will receive a prize just for participating!

And, the winner will get to see her/his papercraft creation
called out as ***THE WINNER***
on our Magazine Mondays Pinterest board!

Important Note:

This papercrafting challenge is not just open to cards or scrapbook layouts (which have both been popular entry categories), but to ALL papercrafted creations!

How about creating something for your home or office or as a gift?

Whether you like to make home decor items, work in your art journal, create “repurposed” projects out of paper products, make cards, enjoy creating scrapbook layouts, or prefer book-binding, quilling or origami, or some other form of papercrafting, it’s all welcome!

Love this week’s inspiration for a Project Life® or 365 entry or page? Create and enter that!

The ONLY requirements for entering the Magazine Mondays papercrafting challenge (at this time) is that your entry must be a papercraft project – it must somehow incorporate paper – and it must be linked to before the deadline.

Play along and good luck!
Steph & The PCC Team
